- Pay for a gym membership or a personal trainer but never take action
- Think because you exercise you can eat whatever you like
- Believe that you don’t need to be training because you have an active job which requires you’re on your feet all day
- Tell yourself that you want to get into shape before you commit to an exercise class or the gym
- Continually eat the office biscuits because you don’t have the willpower to say NO
- Don’t train at your local outdoor bootcamp because it’s raining or not going to the gym because it’s too hot and will be stuffy in there
- Always put everyone else before yourself…Start taking care and looking after yourself so that you can take better care of everyone else
- Spend your days doing the same old long, boring cardio sessions because you think that by lifting weights you’re going to get bulky
- Never take responsibility for your own actions and spend your time blaming others
- Insist you’re happy with the way you look, when you’re clearly not
- Don’t make your health and weight loss a priority in life. Seriously you can’t expect to lose weight if you don’t care enough to make it a priority
- Justify continuing to eat pasta because it’s good value for money
- Continue to drink Powerade because it’s a sports drink
- Take the car to work when you could easily bike or walk there
- Finish every meal with dessert
- Learn how to bake bread
- Get married and get comfortable with your lives. Very, very comfortable
- Avoid exercise because you’re too tired
- Only sleep 5 hours per night, say hello Ghrelin and goodbye Leptin
- Buy fat free products thinking you’re doing the right thing
- Still believe that it’s all about calories in VS calories out. 1000 calories from ice cream will have the exact same effect on your body as 1000 calories of broccoli. Yeah right
- Are yet to master the great exercise ‘table push aways’ (think about it)
- Continue to drink your calories from soda, alcohol and sweetened beverages
- Quit when something doesn’t turn out in the way you expected
- Buy fitness products that fold up to fit under the bed….and stay under the bed.
