Happy Friday!

Hope your week is going really well.

Every time you put something in your mouth, you are either nourishing your body or adding toxicity. Becoming conscious of what you eat is very valuable to your health.

We all love coffee.  On a warm Summers day, a hot coffee is OK, however an iced coffee is amazing.  We came home and enjoyed one today. Homemade, with all natural, nourishing ingredients.

The first ingredient is almond milk. Most store bought almond milks along with ones you get at a cafe have all sorts of ingredients you don’t need to be drinking including sugar, sunflower oil and maltodextrin.

We choose Isola Bio Almond Milk – Water, organic almonds and sea salt.

In a blender, add your almond milk, then your organic espresso shot (either decaf or not 🙂 , along with plenty of ice, and if you prefer it a little sweeter, add some natural sweetener (we have been using a monk fruit blend by Sweetnz). Whiz it up then pour into a glass.

For a little more indulgence (but still good for you), whip some cream and add to the top along with a sprinkling of cinnamon. Enjoy.

This drink is low in carbs, so not sending your blood sugars through the roof. Filled with good fats to nourish your hormones and brain and a delicious drink to sit down and put your feet up and take a little moment for yourself…. hmm or just drink while running around after others 🙂

Give it a go and let us know how you get on.

p.s more on the Bulletproof Brain Octane in another post – we like to add this to our coffee 🙂
