I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and NYE
Now that hopefully all the parties, drinking and celebrating silly season has finished, it’s time to get serious again.
Over the weekend I was out with Milly and Bear and we were ”Gruffalo hunting”
Those of you with kids will probably know what I am talking about.
Bear my 3 year old found some plums hanging from the tree. He for whatever reason tried his darnedest to reach up and attempt to pick the plums from high up above his head.
I told Bear to look around and see that there are plenty of plums well within his reach.
Forget the plums that are out of reach and focus on the plums that are all around you.
This got me thinking…
When it comes to Health, Fitness and Fat loss so many try to focus on the plums that are out of reach. Things like the latest supplement, new fad diet or 7 day a week training.
This approach often leaves people feeling frustrated from lack of results
It doesn’t matter if you take Acai berries cultivated from the finest trees up high in the South American rainforests if the rest of your diet is full of processed crap
It doesn’t matter if you follow an amazing diet, if you only sleep 5 hours a night and you have no energy
Going for the LOW HANGING FRUIT is the answer to achieving all the results
Just like Bear, focus on the things that are in front of you, focus on the things that are easy and doing them consistently will make for effortless results.
So many health problems could be controlled by simple things – better sleep, hydration and moving everyday.
Simple is profound
